I retire tonight with an unexpectedly rejuvenated spirit… a reinvigorated outlook and sense of passion for the future - for, on this night, inspiration was decisively chosen over division, and hope convincingly over fear. And as a result, I can’t help but now wonder… Could our best days truly be ahead of us? I think of Iowa and once again I smile.
