In working consistently on the internet, I find that branding yourself, as well as branding your business, is the most significant way to become known on Google.  After all, unless you are willing to become known on the most powerful search engine on the planet, what makes you think that you will become successful in trying to sell something?  I can answer that question right now.  You will have absolutely no success if  you are approaching your online business in the way that most people are trying to do.  Have you ever heard of thinking outside the box?  This is what you must do.  You must move away from the pack and blaze your own trail on the internet to even have a chance to market successfully.  So, let me get right to the point of this article.

 

My name is Butch Hamilton and I am a search engine optimization master.  In other words, I specialize in obtaining top positions on websites for companies and individuals.  It is not only my job, it is my passion.  SEO lights me up.  The art of buying a keyword specific domain, then building a search engine compatible webpage, and then promoting that site to the top of Google, gives me a great deal of satisfaction and personal achievement.  It seems to make my seo clients happy as well, because of my efforts, they now have a shot at making sales.  SEO is really nothing more than a consistent building process.  I write articles, blog posts, press releases and ezine articles to achieve these positions.  It really is simple once you know the process and begin to work as I do.  I will not sit and write today that there is nothing to gaining top positions on Google.  It takes an incredible amount of time and effort to achieve success.  I have consistently worked over three years, almost non-stop, to achieve the level of competency that I now possess.

 

I deal with a large number of people throughout the week.  The seem to be struggling and straining to promote their businesses online.  Since I am also a Master SEO Trainer for the Veretekk System, they receive some of my knowledge and expertise just be attending my seo training sessions.  The funny part of the story is, almost no one actually takes this information and puts it to effective use.  I find this amazing, but I guess its just the way that the internet operates.  I think that people tend to become very un-focused very quickly if they do not have the instant success they desire.  The fact is, there is no instant success online or in real life either.  Success, while being different for everyone, has at the core, a few simple things that must be accomplished, before the results come.  The same is true with effective SEO.  There is no software program, no master program for success and definitely no so-called guru master that can accomplish miracles for you and your online business.  I find the that the websites that promote ridiculous things like that, make my work as a qualified seo master, even more difficult.  If you want some insider info about how to check people out, simply type their name into Google.  If they are the real deal, they will show up on their name many times.  If they are nowhere, you can bet they are nothing but marketers.

 

This could be the reason that most will never take my advice.  They want to make money quick and easy online.  If that is your mindset, then I wish you all the best.  Honestly, you should stay with your day job if you think in those terms.  You can get rich on Google, the slow and consistent way.  You can learn to master the necessary elements like search engine optimization, learning html code, buying keyword specific domains, conducting effective keyword research and building search engine friendly websites.  If this seems complicated to you right now, you must begin to become educated in the way that the internet actually works.  Without that essential knowledge as a base, you will never achieve maximum results from your online business.

You may consider me bold in my comments in the above text.  It is just the way I am.  I will tell you that the type of person that I really am is this.  If you want success, then come along with me.  If you do not, then get the hell out of my way, because I am on the way to the top!

It would seem that the dream of home business ownership grows daily on Google.  People seem to be searching and finding businesses to become involved in at a staggering rate.  Online companies are making money.  People promoting these programs are becoming self supporting and actually have no need to return to the work force to become a slave to the company.  In talking with many people, this would seem to be a new paradigm shift in the way that business will become in the new age.  People can stay at home and make much more money than they could have ever done working a J O B.  This raises an interesting question in my mind.  With all the people desiring this new way of living, why is the failure rate so high.  You would think that being diligent, working hard and obtaining the necessary elements that will lead to that online success, people would be achieving mastery, but obviously they are not.  The 95% failure of online business owners is clearly a sign of something being very wrong with the system.  I will attempt to give first hand knowledge in this area to try to dissect the reasons people are not achieving at the level they had hoped for.

 

• Being a consistent bitcher, moaner and whiner about every small and unimportant detail about the business will result in a pattern of non-success.
• Being too analytical with minute details, rather than choosing to become positive about all things within the business can lead to no success.
• Thinking that you know more about the business than the owner, the founder, the trainers and the customer support staff, can be a real detriment to the success, or lack of success, in any online program.
• Being your own worst enemy when it comes to success online.  Most people sabotage their success without ever knowing they have done so.  It is a true statement that "what we think, is what we become."  When a person is concerned with the negatives, rather than focusing on the positive benefits will surely lead to no success.
• Being consistent in your desire to complain that all parts of the program are not up to your rigorous demands for perfection, is the best way to block the positive points of any program, and will lead to no success online.
• Being stubborn in the fact that you are right, and everyone else is a moron, makes you very prone to have less than the desired effects in any business.
• Condemning, criticizing and complaining about every person, place or thing on this planet, will surely lead to no gain in a business.

I realize very well that any business, whether it be online or offline, has its pluses and minuses.  Its fair to say that in a perfect world, we would all have the perfect things that we think that we deserve.  Unfortunately, we live in a world where things just don't work right for us, no matter what we do.  Our struggling, striving, complaining, bitching, moaning and whining about anything less than perfection, leads one to become very stubborn and unmoving in the overall process.  We must learn to overcome this pattern of behavior, before we can hope to achieve any type of online success.

 

In my professional opinion, I find that the best ways to success are learning to be fluid and changeable, and are the best answers to achieving both personal, and financial gains.  We must learn that systems break down, but we find ways to overcome our situations.  We learn to overcome and adapt to any situation, be it good or bad.  With this type of fluidity in our personal and business lives, we learn that the universe opens its majesty to those who maintain a positive and uplifting mentality, no matter what the circumstance we find ourselves in.  The spiritual attributes within our core being are telling us constantly the right moves to make.  The trick is, to listen to these universal laws, and take full advantage of the message they are telling us.  Most people tend to believe that perfection can only be achieved in the hereafter.  I, for one, believe that perfection is here and now for the people that are willing to open their minds and hearts to that reality.

 

Life is about change.  Life is about us being able to move freely about without the restrictions that others place upon us, but more importantly, the restrictions that we place upon ourselves.  So what is the secret to becoming successful?  The absolute truth lies within each of us to open ourselves, and to look within for that answer.  It is there, but sometimes finding that special gift means a letting go of everything that you think you need to be...and to just be.

Delightful common sense book, November 20, 2007 By  Lesley West (St James, Western Australia) - See all my reviews       I must confess up front that I am not particularly fond of the genre of motivational and enlightenment books, but as I picked this up I was willing to be surprised, and I have to confess that I was, and pleasantly so. This is a lovely and delightful little book of simple philosophy, or perhaps put another way, a confident presentation of positive ways to reflect on and ultimately live your life. What it really offers is common sense with 2 focuses: (i) have a positive attitude and (ii) live life to the fullest I particularly liked the affirmation at the beginning of the book about appreciating every day, and throughout the book there are words of wisdom that cannot be refuted. The athor's own examples of where life has taken him and how he faces its challenges and obstacles is interesting and entertaining. However, if I have a criticism, it's simply that taken in one reading, as I did, it really is a little too much and after a while the message begins to get lost. If you buy this book, and it is a worthwhile purchase, use it as something that you dip into when you are looking for a boost or affirmation. It is indeed heart warming, and even though it is not a large format book it would make a nice book to leave on your coffee table or in a reception area. The title alone will make people pick it up, and there is certainly enough within the covers to make for entertaining discussion or a little self reflection.     This book is very good!, November 19, 2007 By  BookReview.com (Madison, WI United States) - See all my reviews Who could disagree with an author who observes, whether we utilize our time wisely or are immobilized by our doubts and fears, the sand will continue to fall through the hourglass and one day will soon become the next. Easy guidance to accept if you already believe it, but I think the test of a good self-help book is whether it can convince those who don't. D. Anthony (no biographical information is provided) illustrates through analogies how we come to accept our limitations. He then discusses a test of the perceptions of two people about luck which shows how attitude affects expectations, commitment, awareness of opportunities and ultimately results. I found this convincing. I also appreciated the little exercises--saying hello to five strangers, giving yourself a gift of something you ordinarily wouldn't take time to enjoy, saying "thank you" to the person who is most important to you in life, etc--some of his little epigrams--"Stress is nothing less than this life's express to the next."--and his unabashed devotion to his now deceased mother. What I didn't care for was the rather simplistic poetry meant to reinforce the prose message. To me it was little better than syrupy, rhyming, mini-sermons that trivialized the book's message. In fairness, some readers will probably cut these out and post them on their refrigerators. Whatever works! And just when I began to fear suffocation by feel-good frenzy, I was re-grounded by essays like the one where he makes a collection call to an elderly man who had gone blind and another that offers an excellent perspective on our unaccountable need to feel someone else is doing even worse than we are ("It suggests that when we go into our familiar 'winners and losers' mind set, we may actually lose regardless of whether we finish first or last.") In fact there are strong passages that show the power of positive attitude may not always be enough--for example, the author tries to help a fellow worker who feels unappreciated in her job. "Just to be clear, in no way do I mean to suggest every problem is insignificant or imagined. The reality is that no matter the spiral of choice and no matter who we are or what we do, every once in a while, a serious issue is going to find us. Someway and somehow, every so often life is going to manage to get a good punch in... My theory is that the way we feel is about 15-20 percent circumstance and 80-85 percent perspective. If we alter our perspective, we can't help but change or live." That's the practical voice of someone I can listen to. I wondered, and when Mr. Anthony went on to explain that that was the first blow life dealt him, I began to understand. I had heard some of these truths in other forms, of course, but none so succinct and clear. This book taught me how to make simple changes in my reactions to the blows life hands me, and how to adjust my attitude so that I could learn from them and "make a difference" ... not only in my own life but in the lives of my friends and family and all those with whom I come in contact. I confess it won't be an overnight miracle, but if I stop to think about what I'm doing and plan where I'm going and what I want to be (not what others want me to be) I will change little by little until I eventually grow into the successful person I was meant to be. This book is clear, concise and easy to read, with many examples of successful people to guide us along our way. I especially enjoyed the inspiring story of Colonel Sanders of Kentucky Fried Chicken fame. The idea of operating a successful small business from home, will be the focus of this article.  In turning for a pointed description of SOHO, I will use Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia.  "The modern concept of Small Office and Home Office or SoHo, or Small or Home Office or Single Office/Home Office deals with the category of business which can be from 1 to 10 workers. Larger business enterprises, one notch up the size scale, are often categorized as a small business. When a company reaches 100 or more employees, it is often referred to as a Small and Medium-sized Enterprise.

Before the 19th century, and the spread of the industrial revolution around the globe, nearly all offices were small offices and/or home offices, with only a few exceptions. Most businesses were small, and so was the paperwork that went with them.

The industrial revolution aggregated workers in factories, to mass produce goods. For the most part, the so-called "white collar" counterpart— office work— was aggregated as well, in large buildings, usually in cities or densely populated suburban areas.

A home office.

Beginning in the mid-1990s, the advent of the personal computer, and breakthroughs in voice and data communication, created opportunities for office workers to decentralize. Decentralization also benefits employers, in lower overhead, and in many cases, greater productivity.

At the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st, the term "Small or Home Office" and its variants —along with the acronym "SOHO"— have been used to a great extent by companies who market products targeting the great numbers of small businesses which have a tiny or medium sized office.

Several ranges of products, such as the Armoire desk and a few other desk forms, are often designed specifically for the "SOHO" market. Several kinds of books are written and marketed specifically for this type of office, ranging from general advice texts to specific guidebooks on setting up such things as a small PBX for the office telephones.

Many consultants and the member of several professions such as lawyers, real estate agents or surveyors in small and medium sized towns operate from such home offices.

Webcast is another phrase used for web conferencing and web conferencing services.  According to the online encyclopedia Wikipedia the term is used to describe certain types of communication devices now in use across the globe.  "A webcast is a media file distributed over the Internet using streaming media technology. As a broadcast may either be live or recorded, similarly, a webcast may either be distributed live or recorded. Essentially, webcasting is "broadcasting" over the Internet.

The generally accepted use of the term webcast is the "transmission of linear audio or video content over the Internet".

A webcast uses streaming media technology to take a single content source and distribute it to many simultaneous listeners/viewers.

The largest "webcasters" include existing radio and TV stations who "simulcast" their output, as well as a multitude of Internet only "stations". The term webcasting is usually reserved for referring to non-interactive linear streams or events.

Rights and licensing bodies offer specific "webcasting licenses" to those wishing to carry out Internet broadcasting using copyright material.

Webcasting is also used extensively in the commercial sector for investor relations presentations (such as Annual General Meetings), in E-learning (to transmit seminars), and for related communications activities. However, webcasting does not bear much, if any, relationship to the idea of web conferencing which is designed for many-to-many interaction.

The ability to webcast using cheap/accessible technology has allowed independent media to flourish. There are many notable independent shows that broadcast regularly online. Often produced by average citizens in their homes they cover many interests and topics; from the mundane to the bizarre. Webcasts relating to computers, technology, and news are particularly popular and many new shows are added regularly.

"Webcasting" was first publicly described and presented by Brian Raila of GTE Laboratories at InterTainment '89, 1989, held in New York City, USA. Raila recognized that a viewer/listener need not download the entirety of a program to view/listen to a portion thereof, so long as the receiving device ("client computer") could, over time, receive and present data more rapidly than the user could digest same. Raila used the term "buffered media" to describe this concept.

Raila was joined by James Paschetto of GTE Laboratories to further demonstrate the concept. Paschetto was singularly responsible for the first workable prototype of streaming media, which Raila presented and demonstrated at the Voice Mail Association of Europe 1995 Fall Meeting of October, 1995, in Montreux, Switzerland. Alan Saperstein (Visual Data- Now known as Onstream Media (NASDAQ:ONSM), was the first company to feature streaming video in June of 1993 with HotelView, a travel library of 2 minute videos featuring thousands of hotel properties worldwide.

The term webcasting was coined (in the early/mid 1990s) when webcast/streaming pioneers Mark Cuban (Audionet), Howard Gordon (Xing Technologies), William Mutual (ITV.net) and Peggy Miles (InterVox Communications) got together with a community of webcasters to pick a term to describe the technology of sending audio and video on the Net...that might make sense to people. The term netcasting was a consideration, but one of the early webcast community members owned a company called NetCast, so that term was not used, seeking a name that would not be branded to one company. Discussions were also conducted about the term with the National Association of Broadcasters for their books - Internet Age Broadcaster I and II, written by Peggy Miles and Dean Sakai.

The actual word "webcast" was coined by Daniel Keys Moran^{[citation needed]} in his 1988 novel The Armageddon Blues.: "... DataWeb News had done an in-depth on it not two weeks ago, and tourists had been trekking up into the New York hills ever since the webcast." -- page 191 of the Bantam paperback."

In working consistently online, I am very fortunate to be one who has learned how to capture top positions on Google for any keyword phrase that I choose. I simply write. In speaking and lecturing about this to different organizations online, I try to make it a very simple process that absolutely anyone can learn to do. In fact, if you approach your online business with the utmost of simplicity, work consistently every single day and never lose that sense of writing original and keyword specific content, you too, can learn the art of search engine optimization.

That brings me to the relevant question this morning. How many ever take that piece of wisdom and develop it fully? I am going to venture a guess that one in a million would be a fair statement. Imagine having real-time information that can build your online business right before you, and yet you have a tendency to use spam email, post classified ads to Craigslist, buy software programs that guarantee success and yes, even hire unscrupulous people who claim that they will do it all for you at a premium price.

Do not get me wrong here. If you happen to be a person who is time restricted, the hiring a qualified and competent SEO master to handle your online promoting, could be the best investment that you will ever make. If you are challenged in other areas, like your total inability to write effective copy, then hiring someone like me can mean money in your pocket. The point is this. If you are trying to market goods and services online and you have not made the committed choice to become a true online professional business man or woman, you will probably not make it on Google. Its just a given fact that about 95% of people fail simply because that are not educated in the arts of search engine optimization, search engine marketing, building highly effective and Google driven lead capture pages, how to write effective articles and all the other elements that go hand in hand with success on the internet.

In going through my emails this morning, I thought what sort of mentality does it take to produce millions of spam emails in order to try to sell something. I find spam extremely entertaining as I try to discern what type of moronic mentality could ever hope to sell their widgets by using email. You do realize that email is the most unstable of any communication that we have. In all actuality, you cannot run your online business successfully using email. If that is the way you choose to run your online business, then I heartily say GOOD LUCK! I find it extremely hard to actually deliver a true business email to my clients. AOL, Comcast, RoadRunner, Yahoo, GMail and the other million email providers out there are consistently proving that they will allow spam, penis pills, breast enlargement, weight loss, get rich online, you have just been awarded one million dollars and the other subjects to get through. But a legitimate online business professional like myself, cannot contact a client through their services.

Oh well, the mysteries of the net go forth. I continue to do my part in the overall picture of Google. I continue to produce my own premium leads. I obtain top positions on Google. I make incredible money. I do it in a credible and reliable fashion. The bottom line here is, you can learn to do exactly what I do. The question is this. Are you willing to become educated?  Making the correct choice can mean money in your pocket.  Choosing to operate your business they way you think you need to, is a big mistake on your part.  Learning all about leads, lead generation, leads generating and inside science of Google promoting will mean ultimate success for your business.
