"There are two distinct views on the meaning of the word time. One view is that time is part of the fundamental structure of the universe, a dimension in which events occur in sequence, and time itself is something that can be measured. This is the realist's view, to which Sir Isaac Newton subscribed, and hence is sometimes referred to as Newtonian time.[1] A contrasting view is that time is part of the fundamental human intellectual structure (together with space and number) within which we sequence events, quantify the duration of events and the intervals between them, and compare the motions of objects. In this second view, time does not refer to any kind of entity that "flows", that objects "move through", or that is a "container" for events. This view is in the tradition of Gottfried Leibniz[2] and Immanuel Kant,[3][4] in which time, rather than being an objective thing to be measured, is part of the measuring system used by humans.
In physics, time and space are considered fundamental quantities (i.e. they cannot be defined in terms of other quantities because other quantities – such as velocity, force, energy, etc – are already defined in terms of them). Thus the only definition possible is an operational one, in which time is defined by the process of measurement and by the units chosen.
Periodic events and periodic motion have long served as standards for units of time. Examples are the apparent motion of the sun across the sky, the phases of the moon, the swing of a pendulum, heartbeats, etc. Currently, the unit of time interval (the second) is defined as a certain number of hyperfine transitions in Cesium atoms (see below).
Time has long been a major subject of science, philosophy, and art. Its measurement has occupied scientists and technologists, and was a prime motivation in astronomy. Time is also of significant social importance, having economic value ("time is money") as well as personal value, due to an awareness of the limited time in each day and in human lifespans." Granted, this is a little wordy, but you get the point that time is a constant element. As a matter of fact, I am NOT a clock watcher, a calendar watcher or actually any other means that people gauge their time by. I simply live, work, enjoy and am not at all concerned with the day, date, time or the events happening around me of which I have absolutely no control. In other words, I live a very free and flowing lifestyle. This is one reason that I am one of the most powerful seo masters on Google today. I am fluid and ever changing in my approach to marketing successfully on Google. I will share some insider secrets on how to achieve this.
In my seo business, I have the opportunity to come into contact with many people. These people are looking for a way to live outside the thoughts of convention. They are looking to leverage their time and efforts more effectively, live life on their own terms, and generally make money with an online business. They fall short of those expectations most of the time. I like to think about the whys of them having no success. In the spirit of fairness, I simply ask them a question. What have you actually accomplished today to build your business? Most of the time they come back and say, "I posted to Craigslist, I worked on my Veretekk configuration, I talked to some people on skype, I went into a training class and recorded the session, I tried to learn a thousand new techniques today for promoting online and other things. In all actuality, they really accomplished nothing of what they needed to be doing to build a business. Anyone should be aware that writing is the basis of success on Google. The written words contain power in obtaining top positions on websites so that people will view your information. They have not done one thing in this area, because they just don't have the TIME!
Ah, the word TIME comes into play again. They don't have enough time to sit and type a few effective keywords, but they seemed to have all the time in the world to chat, send non-sensical emails, listen to others who are successful tell them exactly how to accomplish it and yet, they just miss the boat entirely on the one key element that they need to become a success on Google. In all actuality, you can become very successful, highly recognized and have the ability to command the search engines just by writing keyword specific articles, just like the one you are reading. How many choose to do that? Not many I think. There seems to be an almost inherent tendency in the online professional world, to do all the wrong things. I have been noticing this for quite some time. I do try to lead people in the right direction, but the fact of the matter is, you cannot make them enter that world of accomplishment. Below are some definite time wasters that I have been witness to.
- Checking Emails This is probably one very common thing that most marketers do. They search the thousands of emails on an hourly basis in hopes of finding the one email that tells them they have made a sale of their latest and greatest widget. In all actuality, 99% of all emails can be deleted, as they are nothing but other people trying to get you to join their latest and greatest. What a waste of time and energy.
- Attending Training Classes While the actual process of attending training classes concerning topics that are relevant to internet marketing like search engine optimization, search engine marketing, building high quality and search engine compatible websites and all the other intricate details of successful marketing online may be a great thing to do initially, you must become dedicated to the goal of putting into motion the things that you learn there. I see a great many of nothing but training junkies. They come to my seo lectures, turn on the recorders, and go to the nearest television. This is a total waste of time if you are not going to use the information
- Chat Rooms This is one area that I see people waste more time, when they actually should be writing keyword specific articles, press releases, blog posts and posting to forums regularly. Money will never be made in chat rooms. Oh sure, you make many friends and you may consider this an integral part of your business, but in my professional opinion, social networking is a total waste of valuable time.
- Wasting Time on the Phone Did you know that most phone calls only really need to be a few moments in length? Getting to the point in a phone conversation is paramount. You must clearly state your purpose to the caller, then its time to get back to work. Phone time, unless you are making sales, is a total waste of effective time management.
- Surfing Webpages If you spend a lot of time surfing around trying to find the magic button for successfully building a business on Google, you will NEVER accomplish anything. Surfing is for people who have way too much time on their hands. If you need information, simply type the question into a Google search box, and get the answer. Its time to get down to the basics of effective time leveraging.
- Watching What Others Do, or Don't Do This is another total waste of time. In my professional opinion, you must go where no man has gone before on the internet to be effective. You must be demanding and forthright in your desire to have the success in building a stable and viable business online. You must be committed to writing in order to see any success at all on the internet. Unless you are willing to fly right past all the so-called gurus and what they say to do or not do, you are going to lose. Do not be fooled by people that you consider huge networking legends. They may possibly be nothing that your visions of grandeur and success that you have formulated within your own mind about them to be. They are very much just like you. They are average people trying to make money from an online business, and NOTHING more.
- Submitting Classified Ads on the Net Please, move away from you advertising mentality here. What makes your latest and greatest different from everyone else's on the classified ad sites? Absolutely nothing! You can use classified ads to build links, if you know how to be keyword specific, but in reality online, you are not going to make sales using that approach.
